  I'm sorry I've heard about this place from several sources I love Doughnuts! The store is cute and fancy but I went in to purchase a dozen for sure $11 for a regular dozen(about 4 choices) is too much. I won't go into the higher prices. The traditional glazed was heavy and tasted like dough the glaze was runny. The one star is for the cute shop!

  Strange is one of my favorite places in St. Louis, PERIOD. They've redefined the donut industry with their atmosphere. I suggest getting to their location early. It's a popular spot, and their donuts are not unlimited. The weekends are a great time to go. Their "Stranger" of the week is a donut fused with some other food from a local eatery. Sometimes they sound disgusting, but end up being one of my favorites.
  
  I highly suggest the Blueberry Cheesecake or Mexican Hot Chocolate dones. Their donuts are generally seasonal and the menu changes monthly, so you may not get a Mexican Hot Chocolate until winter time, but it's my favorite by far.
  
  Their coffee is roasted by Kaldi's Coffee. GET THIS COFFEE. I consider myself a coffee snob and, I have to tell you, I buy a bag of these whole beans the moment I run out. It has an incredible flavor.

  Not a huge selection - in fact it's pretty small. Come early in the day to get the actual "strange' donuts, though! They're pretty good.
